Appreciation

The Leadership

Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice Day. On November 11, 1919, President Woodrow Wilson issued a message to his countrymen on that first Armistice Day. It focused on the great loss of life in that first World War.  On June 4, 1926, President Calvin Coolidge signed the resolution.

Wearing the Uniform Proudly

The 6888th Postal Battalion

History remains full of hidden heroes. This unit was activated in 1945 and decommissioned 1946. There sole mission was to work through the uncountable amount of undelivered mail and see that it was delivered to our fighting men of WWII.  Predominantly Black these women were heroes.
